The levels of our language courses are the six levels described by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages:
A1: Introductory or discovery level for beginners.
A2: Intermediate or survival level for people with basic notions.
B1: Threshold level for users who are able to cope with simple daily life situations.
B2: Advanced or independent user level for people with a good deal of experience with language use in various contexts.
C1: Autonomous or effective operational proficiency level for proficient users.
C2: Mastery level for people who aim to improve their understanding of nuances, accents and jargons.
One can consider that the transition from one level to the next one requires about sixty hours of training. This hour volume can decrease if the learner takes private and regular courses. Another thing to take into account is that the higher the level, the more hours of training will be necessary to reach the next level. Thus, reaching the A1 level can be done in about fifty hours, while progressing from the B2 level to the C1 level will require over seventy hours.
