About Verba Scripta

Verba Scripta is a language school that was founded in the beginning of 2007 in Brussels.

Driven by a shared passion for languages, travels and human relations, its four founding members chose to offer personalized and flexible courses based on modern and tested pedagogy.

We at Verba Scripta think :

That mastering one or several foreign languages is indispensable to open up to the world, to travel, to exchange, to meet others, to evolve professionally within companies that are present on the international market, to integrate in a country or community.

That a foreign language has to be learnt in a climate of trust and mutual respect. That is why we insist that one student is followed by one single teacher throughout his entire training process.

That a language teacher should be receptive to his student and, as a consequence, should be able to adapt his methods and information carriers to the student’s needs.

That the schedules and training packages should be flexible in order to better suit the heavy schedules of the professionals who call upon our services.

That language courses should allow expatriates to meet people in similar situations and to integrate in a new country, a new city, a new life. Therefore, we do all that is in our power to help expatriates in their daily life, not only by providing them with course contents that suit their needs and focus on immersion and practical cases, but also by providing them with help and advice (accommodation, social gatherings, children’s schooling, babysitting, etc.).
